Communities

Move the work forward

Arttavo communities are organized around what you're trying to do, not the medium you work in. Every post names a goal and what would help. Every post is read by a person before it goes up.

How posting works

01

Pick your community

Choose the goal you're working on: getting booked, finishing the work, finding collaborators, getting funded, or a Lab project.

02

Use a template

Every post follows one of four shapes, so it's clear what you're working toward and how people can help.

Progress UpdateAskOfferWin

03

A person reviews it

We check each post against the community standards, usually within a couple of days. We never rewrite your words. If something needs changing, we'll ask you.

Community standards

Six things every post does

Works toward something

Every post names what you're working toward. Progress over promotion.

Is specific

Say exactly what would help, and by when. "Feedback on the low end of track 2" beats "thoughts?"

Gives as well as asks

Offers, introductions and feedback count as much as wins.

Credits collaborators

If someone helped, name them.

Keeps it respectful

Zero tolerance for hate speech, bullying and harassment.

Shares only what's yours

Post media you made, or have permission to share. Your work stays yours.

What we won't post

  • Promotion with no goal or ask, like "new drop, link in bio"
  • Sales pitches, spam or paid placements
  • Content unrelated to creative work
  • Anything that targets or demeans a person or group

If a post doesn't fit, we'll tell you why and how to repost it. We never rewrite your words.
