A Lab starts with a creative project too big for one person: a product, a show, a service, a place. Whoever brings it becomes the Lab's originator.

Creators across disciplines take on a piece: sound, design, local knowledge, production. The work happens in the open, in the Lab's own community.

Every contribution is logged and credited from day one. The aim is for that credit to become real ownership in what a Lab earns or becomes. How that works is still being set, with legal advice. Until it is, nothing is promised beyond credit, and nothing logged is lost.
Most platforms turn creative work into posts and hope an algorithm notices. Labs are for the projects that deserve more: real things, made by the people who should share in them.
A welcome to New York for travelers landing at JFK, LGA and EWR: music, local knowledge and a gift from the people who make the city sound like itself. It's the first Arttavo Lab, and the proof of how Labs work.
