Working toward

arrival.fm, Lab 001: a welcome to New York for people landing at JFK, LGA and EWR, built around the moment they arrive

The update

The shape is set. A traveler enters their flight number and gets a bespoke digital welcome: music from the people who make the city sound like itself, local knowledge, and a gift from chief&mischief and friends. Behind it: an Arrival Channel on hnt.fm, a Tapyoca tap card, and a printed guide. The prototype lives on arttavo.com and runs on real flight data. What it needs now is the creative layer, and that's the part only the network can make.

Next step

Get the first Arrival Channel set, the first guide page and the first gift into one complete welcome for one flight.

What would help

Four things: a DJ or producer to shape the sound of arriving; a designer for the guide and the card; someone who knows a corner of the city well enough to write it; and a maker who'd put something small and real in the welcome gift. Say which one you'd take, and we'll set you up with the brief. Every contribution is credited.
